The hotel Veranda Paul et Virginie is situated in the village of Grand Gaube. This authentic fishing village is historically known as the place where traditional wooden ships called pirogues were made. Their colorful puffed up sails are best admired during the village regattas. From the hotel, you may opt for going along the beach, and its small, rocky coves that punctuate the coastline of this region. In the busy streets, Creole conversations resound like songs.
